It takes a very special team of qualified healthcare professionals to support the health and fitness of over 70,000 members of the Australian Defence Force.

Join these remarkable people and you too will enjoy fulfilling vocational challenges, travel and adventure, variety, camaraderie and a unique lifestyle. One week could see you working in a well-equipped clinic on base, and the next in a field hospital on exercise.

2022 Sponsors

St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital is a 250 bed not-for-profit private hospital based in Spring Hill, Brisbane and is a proud supporter of ACEM.

St Andrew's has a 24/7 Emergency Centre (EC), and based in inner-city Brisbane, offers a dedicated hand and upper limb on call roster with leading orthopaedic specialists. Phone #1300 263 463 and speak with a specialist - anytime - for advice or to refer. Our doctors are happy to see isolated and/or complex upper limb injuries from across Queensland.

In particular, work related injuries can be expertly assessed and treated at St Andrew's EC. There are no out-of-pocket fees for the patient as there are direct billing arrangements with WorkCover and self-insured companies.

St Andrew's is here to help you and your patients. No GP referrals are required and patients do not require private health insurance to be seen in the Emergency Centre - only patients requiring admission need to be insured. Our waiting times are among the lowest in the country.
