The QLD Autumn Symposium is in it's 16th year! It started as a small meeting of approximately 40 fellows. Since then it has gained huge momentum attracting over 200 delegates and 30 speakers from Queensland and as far as the UK. The program consists of approximately 15 dynamic and interactive sessions, small group workshops and a relaxed welcome reception at the end of day one.
What makes this symposium so successful is the dedication and determination of the Autumn Symposium Organising Committee. Dr Sharyn Smith, Dr Kim Hansen and Dr Darren Powrie have had an active involvement in the planning and preparation since its's inception. Larisse Neil and the Season Events team has provided the event management for more than ten years. Together, they have the experience and expertise to bring this first class event to the emergency medicine community each year.
