On behalf of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) Queensland Faculty Autumn Symposium Organising Committee, we once again welcome all Fellows, trainees, rural generalists, other emergency medicine healthcare professionals to join us for this Emergency Medicine Symposium. We have worked hard to provide a program that is clinically relevant to your practice in Queensland and deliver a program that will exceed your expectations. You will hear from colleagues who have a special interest or expertise present on a variety of practical and sometimes controversial topics. The program includes various high-level panel discussions that will certainly create lively debates, interest and lasting impressions.
Please join in in the discussions and follow us on Twitter and Facebook for updates.

Dr Sharyn Smith
QLD Autumn Symposium Organising Committee Chair

Welcome!

The Symposium Committee of Dr Sharyn Smith (Chair), Dr Darren Powrie and Dr Kim Hansen who have been organising the Queensland Autumn Symposium for over 13 years are delighted to announce the 16th Annual QLD Autumn Symposium. We would like to sincerely thank and acknowledge Dr James Collier for his tremendous leadership and commitment to the symposium. Dr Collier stepped down in 2019 after served on the Autumn Symposium Committee since its inception.

With their wealth of expertise and experience they have grown the Symposium from a small meeting, gaining momentum every year to successfully delivering an event that has sold out in the past four years. This year we are limited to 165 delegates to comply with the venue's COVID-19 safe guidelines.

This year we have the option for delegates to join the symposium virtually if they cannot attend in person.

On-line registration is now open.

The committee looks forward to welcoming back our past delegates and extending a warm welcome to our new delegates from around Queensland, and interstate.
